Ok interesting, so jealousy and revenge for 1276 pages sounds pretty intense, wow am I so glad I get to read your lovely summary notes instead haha. I am sure there are many lessons inside, but my biggest takeaways is the way that you dissect, analyze and summarize it, its just beautiful.
The world is filled with malicious people that are driven by envy and hurt, and its so important yet intricate that we navigate it with love and kindness, but make sure we cover our vulnerable bases as much as possible.
The thought of this story and its premise is hard to graciously accept, and a real eye opener.

I have not seen the movie! But it's now on my list - the best part about reading through the classics is how many of them have film adaptations! :)
